Providence Monthly Celebrates Milestone With "100th Issue Party" Benefiting Sexual Assault &

celebrating a publishing milestone in grand style by hosting the Providence Monthly's 100th Issue Party on Thursday, March 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Federal Reserve in Providence. Tickets for the
event are $25 per person, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Sexual Assault & Trauma Resource Center of Rhode Island (SARTC). Advance ticket sales only. For ticket information, call Providence
Monthly at (401) 521-0023. Providence Monthly is hosting their biggest charity bash yet to commemorate 100 issues of the premier
lifestyle publication, complete with a night's full of entertainment, emceed by 92 PRO-FM's Kim Zandy from the Giovanni and Kim in the Morning show. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour from 6:00 p.m. to
7:00 p.m., where guests are invited to sample hors d'oeuvres prepared by chefs at the Federal Reserve, as well as the Providence Monthly Signature Cocktail, created with the new Starbucks Coffee Liqueur. Guests
will also enjoy performances by roaming performance artists, including:
- Big Nazo, the international performance group of visual artists and puppet performers who create hilarious larger-than life sized characters and spectacles.
- Mary Ann Rossoni, a local bandleader, songwriter and singer celebrating her latest release, Downcity.
- Charlie Hall, the creative force behind the musical comedy cabaret Ocean State Follies, and political cartoonist for several Rhode Island newspapers.
- Lon Cerel, performer, comedian, and magician extraordinaire.
After the cocktail hour, a DJ from WRIK Entertainment will keep the party moving with music to get everybody on the dance floor.
Throughout the evening, Providence Monthly will also host a live auction with guest auctioneer Charlie Hall, with full proceeds benefiting SARTC. Guests are invited to place their bids on the following packages:
- Cocktail Party For 8, featuring an in-home cooking demonstration by renowned chef, Jules Ramos of Moda restaurant.
- Shop 'Til You Drop, offering a chauffeured shopping spree at ten area boutiques in Providence and in East Bay, Rhode Island.
- Sports Fanatics, which includes two tickets to a Boston Red Sox game, dinner for two and overnight accommodations in Boston.
- Mystic Weekend, featuring a getaway to the Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa and dinner for two at Octagon, the hotel's AAA 4-Diamond restaurant.

Established in 1973, the Sexual Assault & Trauma Resource Center of Rhode Island is the only agency in the state organized specifically to deal with issues of sexual assault as a community concern. SATRC
provides services to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and other violent crimes and educates the public throughout the state of Rhode Island. Services include: the 24-hour, Victims of Crime Helpline
(1-800-494-8100); crisis intervention; individual and group counseling for children and adults; advocacy (including legal advocacy) for victims and their families; the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART); the
Office of Victim Services at the RI Department of Corrections; the RI Children's Advocacy Center; prevention education; psycho-educational services for incarcerated men and women who are victims of
childhood sexual abuse and assault; and Foster Healthy Families, a program for sexually abused children in foster care and their foster families.
