Providence- July 11, 2005- On Saturday, August 13, 2005, the Sexual Assault & Trauma Resource Center of Rhode Island (SATRC) will host its sixth annual "Under the Stars by the Sea" fundraiser from 6:30-11pm
at the North Beach Clubhouse, Narragansett Beach.
"Under the Stars by the Sea" is the premier summer gala event to benefit SATRC's advocacy, crisis
intervention, counseling, and prevention education programs as well as the RI Children's Advocacy Center. In 2004, SATRC provided services to more than 8,000 individuals.
Set on the beach under the moonlit sky, the fabulous evening features unforgettable dining and dancing in the sand with dinner provided by the Johnson & Wales Inn and live music by Wayz & Means. Elegant

For thirty years, SATRC has been responding to the needs of sexual assault victims throughout Rhode Island. Its mission is to reduce the trauma and prevalence of sexual abuse and violence.
