SEXUAL ASSAULT & TRAUMA RESOURCE CENTER TO ANNOUNCE CONTEST WINNERS

Providence, RI: March 22, 2006 - On March 31, Sexual Assault and Trauma Resource Center will announce the winner of its "Your Voice, Your View" contest, held in conjunction with 92 PRO-FM and Hot 106. The
event will mark the beginning of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a national observance to draw attention to this issue.
All teen finalists and their teachers will be present at the announcement event at Central High School, and all are unaware of the results. The winning ad will be played at the announcement, and finalists will be
available to speak to the media. HOT 106 and 92 PRO-FM, two of Rhode Island's most popular radio stations with teens, will air the winning ad repeatedly during April as part of their commitment to SAAM.

SATRC, founded in 1973 as the Rhode Island Rape Crisis Center, provides treatment and intervention services to victims of sexual assault and their families. SATRC also offers a wide array of advocacy
services as well as prevention and educational programs for Rhode Islanders. |
