VICTIMS OF CRIME HELPLINE SEEKS VOLUNTEERS

The Victims of Crime Helpline is seeking volunteers to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and hate crimes. Volunteers will work with victims of domestic violence,
sexual assault and hate crimes at hospitals and victims of sexual assault at police stations throughout the state to offer support, information, referrals, and safety planning.
Volunteers can work a variety of flexible shifts. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and complete a 31-hour training program. While all volunteers are

. The Victims of Crime Helpline is a partnership between Day One and the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center (on behalf of the six domestic violence agencies of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic
Violence). Training classes are held 3 evenings per week for 3 weeks and 1 Saturday, in Providence, RI, between June 4 and June 20. About Day One
