PROVIDENCE/NARRAGANSETT (August 15, 2007). On Saturday, August 11, Day One hosted its 8th annual
Under the Stars By the Sea benefit on Narragansett Town Beach, raising more than $26,000 to help support programs.
More than 200 guests attended this year's Boogie at the Beach-themed event. Set on the beach under a
moonlit sky, the evening featured live music by the Driftwoods along with delicious cuisine by Johnson & Wales Inn and lighting and decorations by Cachet Fiore.

Under the Stars by the Sea is Day One's premier fundraising celebration benefiting advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling, and prevention education programs as well as the RI Children's Advocacy Center.
In 2006, Day One provided services to more than 12,000 individuals.
