Email: mroberti@dayoneri.org PROVIDENCE, RI (April 9, 2010) – As part of its continuing its efforts around Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Day One will be screening the documentary Dreamworlds 3: Desire, Sex, & Power
in Music Video! on Thursday, April 15 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This highly antipcated anticipated update of Sut Jhally's groundbreaking Dreamworlds 2 (1995) examines the stories
contemporary music videos tell about girls and women, and encourages viewers to consider how these narratives shape individual and cultural attitudes about sexuality.
A discussion led by Day One's Education Department staff will follow the screening and will include recommendations on how to continue these important conversations with your children.
