Child is 13 years old or younger.
- The child has made an initial disclosure of sexual abuse and/or severe physical abuse.
- Any person with a developmental and/or cognitive disability regardless of age who has disclosed sexual abuse.
- This is a pending DCYF and/or law enforcement investigation or child and family are in need of case management, support, or advocacy services.
Cases may be given priority based on: an incident having occurred prior to the child's fourteenth birthday; history of past abuse; severity of abuse; the risk of continued sexual, physical and/or emotional abuse of the child; and the number of victims involved.
