AUGUST 9, 2008 GENERAL INFORMATION
Whether you want to relax on the beach and enjoy the
music or dance the night away, Day One's Under the Stars by the Sea is one event you don't want to miss!On Saturday, August 9, 2008, Day One will host its 9th annual dinner dance on Narragansett Town Beach. The
evening is filled with delicious food and wonderful music under a star-lit sky. All proceeds from the event benefit the many programs and services Day One provides to children, adults and
families traumatized by sexual abuse and violence. These services include advocacy, counseling, and crisis intervention. Day One also works with local school districts and community agencies on prevention education and

Individual and Corporate sponsorship of Under the Stars makes it possible for Day One to continue providing many
of its services free of charge or on a sliding scale. By sponsoring this event, you are increasing the impact of your generosity and making it possible for our
