If you are in crisis and need to speak to an Advocate right away, call the Helpline at 1-800-494-8100.

The Helpline gives 24-hour support and advocacy to those impacted by crimes of violence in Rhode Island, as well as non-offending friends and family members. Advocates are available 24/7 to provide confidential support, information, and advocacy over the phone, as well as in-person support at local hospitals and/or police stations for victims of sexual assault, sexual exploitation, domestic violence and hate crimes. The Helpline uses the Language Line and TDD calls are also accepted.

The Helpline is a partnership between Day One and the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center on behalf of the six domestic violence agencies of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

If you feel that you need help from a counselor or a clinician right away, please call Day One at 401-421-4100 x121. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The Intake Coordinator will respond to your call by the end of the next business day.

You can also fill out our Request for Services Form and a Day One staff member will contact you directly.
